The District AGM will be held on Thursday 5th June at Linktown Church starting at 7:15pm - All leaders are welcome and are encouraged to come along. Current post holders are asked to prepare Annual Reports and submit them, preferably in email format, to Douglas Murray prior to the AGM.

Dates and venues have now been confirmed for the Workshops for Trustees, Office Bearers and Administrators, to be held during April and May. A workshop will be held in each of the 8 Regions and are aimed at supporting those in the above roles by providing information on relevant legislation, Scouting rules as well as practical resources. The workshops are aimed at those in Group, District and Regional roles. Talks will be given by a panel of presenters who specialise in each of the topics - Finance & Accounts, Child Protection, Health & Safety Issues, Trustees Responsibilities, Adult Appointments and the Membership Services System. New Nights Away Permits have been produced by the Scout Association superceding the permits that had a space for the permit holder's photograph. Existing Permit Holders should return their existing permits to me and I'll supply replacements by return.
